It's DC for the first time since 1996
October 10, 2004

For the first time since the league's inaugural season, the Metros will face archrival DC Scum in the playoffs. A Metro tie with Columbus and a DC victory over New England guaranteed the matchup, with the last regular season game between the two teams to decide who plays home first. The Metros need a tie at DC this Sunday to keep second place.

In 1996, we had Peter Vermes stepping up and Rob Johnson stepping down, two events which will not be forgotten by Metro fans... We've waited nine years to repay the Scum, the time is NOW.
